Art has the ability to talk to society and culture and change when listened to.
Are we there yet? Nope, but we are getting closer.
Hey folks!
Welcome to the pages of Find Art For All.
We have been working hard to get things working better. Last month we brought a lot of it together and worked out the bugs. Google tells us we are getting good traffic. Thousands of folks a week are checking us out.
Welcome these businesses!
We have welcomed some great new businesses to our pages in the last week or so. Our most recent ones include Jacob’s Jewelry, Jayelay (JLA) Jewelers, The Nest Studio for Collaborative Healing Arts, Gilead Photography, and Rick Arthur – Billion Hero Studios.
And their businesses are being visited by readers and searchers. (Lori Lebel and Jayelay Jewelers lead our visits.) Art events are searched for the most. That means when you list with us and add your events; folks will be seeking you. This is one of the reasons we are currently offering events at no extra charge.
Currently, we have over 3,000 listings, and more are being added each week. We would love to see yours there. You do NOT need to be art-related to appear on our pages. All businesses are invited.
New businesses are given 90 days of free advertising. (If you purchase a paid program at only $27 per month, you will receive an entire year of advertising at no extra charge. Plus, some other great offerings.) We are developing some other features we think you will enjoy.
Art writers, podcasters, and videographers are being sought. If you think that might be you, I hope you will reach out to us.
Why do we do this? Because art has the ability to speak to society and change culture.
We know that art impacts the world. It transcends cultures and societies in so many ways, reaching from better to worse.
How does it do that?

Art can promote communication between cultures in a similar way that music can. It is visual in so many forms that it speaks a universal language. It causes people to develop respect for others’ beliefs and traditions. The usage of art can effectively unite individuals from diverse cultures and promote understanding and communication with one another.
Art can and will preserve history. It is one of the greatest of all preservers of history. This historic preservation lends weightiness to culture and society. And art reveals itself as a great history teacher. The simple act of looking at art brings respect for history. “and this art and history can influence the way that you see and appreciate the world, as well as how you see and appreciate past and present cultures from around the globe,” stated Social Justice Solutions.
Art can and often will influence and change people’s opinions. Some suggest that the simple arrangement of color can change minds. While many of the religious paintings of the past have brought change to thinking about morality and religion itself. Art reaches a place in our minds that logic might work to prevent. It can enter our hearts and initiate change.
Culture and Change
Art will record the feelings of cultures. The sensitivity of artists to capture feelings adds to the histories to be preserved. “Painting, sculpture, music, literature, and the other arts are often considered to be the repository of a society’s collective memory. Art preserves what fact-based historical records cannot: how it felt to exist in a particular place at a particular time,” stated a contributor to Paint and Party.
And the recording of feelings, while magical in appearance, reveals the realities of culture and society.
And I would ask you to help us. There is lots of work still to be done, but daily we work to improve things.
With that said, it is our hope you will join us.
