Not Just Another Art Tour!
Much of the beauty of art is the unique nature of every individual piece. The same is true of art tours. Why is the River Valley Artisans Tour special?
They have art, of course. With over 25 artisans showing their work we have a wide range of offerings, fiber art, art glass, leather work, painting, woodworking, photography, jewelry, wooden bowls, treasure boxes, and more. There is something for everybody and every taste.
Did I mention taste? Yes! The entire tour is located in two local wineries only 15 minutes drive from each other. And there will be tastings happening through the entire tour at both wineries as well as food offered at both locations. Experience the talents of local vintners and stroll among the artisans’ displays. Meet the artists and pick up some early and definitely unique Christmas gifts for the special people in your life. Nothing shows how much you care like a one-of-a-kind handmade gift. All the artisans will be offering items in a wide price range. And don’t forget that special bottle of wine as a gift.
What could possibly make this a better event? How about a free door prize? Samples of artist donated door prize items will be on display at both wineries. Increase your chances to win by entering at both locations. The drawing will happen shortly after the tour. Winners will be notified via information provided on the submitted ticket.
So that must be all you could expect, right? No! We also have food! A perfect venue to bring your out of town house guests, family, or friends. Be entertained and informed. The settings and views from both wineries are spectacular!
So make sure to stop in and visit with us, have a little wine, and maybe a bite to eat. Mark your calendar for Sat. and Sun., Sept 10th and 11th from 11 am – 5 pm (rain or shine.) The River Valley Artisans will be in the POOCHAM HILL WINERY and SUMMIT WINERY, both located in Westmoreland, NH. Please visit our website for more information, a map and directions.
